Discovering Weimar Through the Lens
As part of a school trip organized by the City of Leuven, I had the unique opportunity to document our week in Weimar. Alongside eight other schools participating over three weeks, our group explored the cultural and historical highlights of this remarkable city. Entrusted with capturing the essence of our experience, I created a series of photos that tell the story of our journey. From candid moments to iconic landmarks, these visuals were later showcased during a city-wide presentation in Leuven, celebrating the connections and memories we built in Weimar.
Behind the Scenes: Weimar Aftermovie
On the final day of our week in Weimar, I had the privilege of leading a film workshop as part of a school project. Together with a group of participating students, we created this aftermovie to capture the spirit of our journey. The students conducted interviews and assisted with various aspects behind the scenes, making it a true collaborative effort.

The completed video, along with the photos I captured, was later showcased during a special presentation in the 'stadschauwburg' Leuven. Attended by the City of Leuven’s administration, cultural board, teachers, and students from all nine participating schools, this event celebrated the experiences and connections we built during the trip. This project was not only a creative endeavor but also an opportunity to engage with peers and highlight the value of teamwork and storytelling.
